My Review
Drawing realistic faces and bodies is only half the battle (take it from me i know). Depicting wrinkles, skirt hems and other aspects of clothing isn't as easy as it looks, but this book will simplify the process for you. This book pick up were the vol 1 left off focusing more on Techniques of drawing Suits and serafuku (Japanese girl school uniform) There are no little step-by-step instructions how to draw them its more of Illustrator file book showing you different angels on how it look and show you
Wrinkles should be. There little comments what are in Japanese says how the force graty and were parts of the cloths bunch up its very useful to know that when drawing. So if you looking for step by step book this book is not for you if you own Dressing Your Characters in Casual Wear then this book is very much like that book and more on suits and school uniform. If you own vol then this book will cover pretty much the same thing so its not a must have but its good to see a book what covers suits and school uniform but there some good little bits in the other how to draw manga books on it.
Customer Review: Useful book
The fact that I don't read Japanese probably keeps this from being as useful to me as it could, but being mainly illustrated, it is still a useful reference work! The book is filled with drawings showing how and where clothes wrinkle, drape, flare, and hang on the body in various positions. I'm sure I'll be referring to this book as I draw!
